It’s okay to sleep in class if you’re adorable

One of the (many) fun things about BlogPaws was the mix of human and animal attendees at the sessions.  Sometimes a well-timed bark would make everyone laugh.  Other times, it was just fun to look around and see a cute pup.  I’ve always said that school would be so much better with puppies.  I stand by it.

I love this photo of Tango (who attended BlogPaws with Laurie from Smart Dog).  This photo op occurred during one of our sessions.  Note the well-covered nose… it could get cold in the rooms, so I think Tango had the right idea.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. That's some precious nosie. I'll bet it stays nice and fresh all covered up like that.

I agree about school. I remember being so impressed when I checked out colleges many years ago to see Cornell University's policy of Dogs Allowed, everywhere, in every building. I think its changed now. Such a shame. Animals grease the wheels of higher learning.

  2. Who doesn't love to see a picture of their dog!
I remember that room and that talk — it was freezing in there! I wish Tango's bed was bigger, I would have snuggled in there with him! Tango says Woofs to you!

  3. I bet you got enough pictures at BlogPaws for a year of Wordless Wednesdays!

I've shown that picture of the puppy from the swag post to everyone but my Middle Child. If I did, I'd be forced at gunpoint to drive down and adopt it!

  4. Kirsten, you'd be pleased to know that some Cornell profs still bring their dogs to class. And that nearby Ithaca College has a number of students who raise service dogs.

But if you don't feel like going back to university, you can always try BlogPaws next year.

Great picture of Tango. He was the best advertisement for Laurie's dog training business. And Laurie was the best advertisement for how to be a good friend to your dog.

  5. Oh yes – school would have been much better with puppies! I love that Tango has his nose buried in the blanket – too cute!

  6. Even though I did not get to bring my kitties to BlogPaws, I sure felt so much more at home having great dogs like Tango to look at and pet!

  7. I can tell you that school is definitely better when dogs are there! On days when I take Bunny to school, everybody is much happier! She says that it's too exhausting to do every day, though!

  8. Pets in school – oh, yeah!!

Tango is a cutie (I didn't meet him at the event). I also think I see Dewi's "little angel/devil" collar on him. 🙂

  9. Laurie – I know! I wish I'd had a blanket too.

Michelle – It would be so fun to meet Toby!

Life Student – I really did. I couldn't put my camera down!

    Kim – LOL.

Pamela – I totally agree! Those two are the perfect example of what positive reinforcement can do. They have a wonderful rapport.

Deb – I agree! It was so nice to be surrounded by furry faces.

houndstooth – How fun that you get to bring Bunny with you sometimes!

Elizabeth – Apparently both Dewi and Tango have excellent taste.
