Doggie bloggy business

Beth over at Two Monkeys & a Washtub named I Still Want More Puppies as a blog that is new to her and that she enjoys reading.  Thanks, Beth!  She was sweet enough to bestow the following Bloggy Award, and now it’s time to pass it on.  Check out the details after the jump…

This award comes with a few strings attached… but they’re pretty minor, so here we go.  First, you should thank the blogger who bestowed the award on you.  Thanks again to Two Monkeys & a Washtub!

Second, you have to tell everyone seven things about you.  In keeping with this blog’s puppy theme, my seven items are all puppy related:

  1. I found Ms. Bella in 2002 using Petfinder.
  2. My catchphrase in college (and now): “Puppies!”  No joke.  People from college still say this to me when they see me.
  3. I love terriers, and will often hum the terrier song from Best in Show.
  4. I like cats too, and would love to adopt one.  However, Bella does not support this plan.
  5. I’m a Braves fan (although I’m a bad puppy mom and still haven’t gotten a Braves jersey for Bella).
  6. One of my favorite board games when I was a kid?  The Pound Puppies board game – Pooch on the Loose!
  7. During college, I couldn’t have a pet on campus.  I’d go to the annual
pet expo and ask all of the owners if I could pet their dogs.  I would
also repeat this request to any dog owner I encountered on campus.  I was like an addict in search of a puppy fix!

Finally, you have to bestow the award on ten blogs that are new to you and that you enjoy reading.  This final requirement was the hardest one… there are so many good blogs that I had trouble narrowing it down!  Apologies to anyone I couldn’t include on my limited list.  (I encourage my readers to check out the blog list at right, where you can find links to so many other great blogs.)  Anyway… here are ten of my new pet blogging friends:

Like I said… tough to narrow down!  There are so many great pet bloggers out there… every weekend you can join in on the Saturday Blog Hop hosted by Life with Dogs, Two Little Cavaliers, and Confessions of the Plume to discover many more!
