Recently, a memorial for Military Working Dogs was unveiled in Texas. It’s a nice tribute to these heroic dogs and their handlers:
Today, the I Still Want More Puppies team (which I guess technically is just me, Bella, and Tavish) wanted to take a moment to thank all of the veterans out there, both human and canine. Bella and Tavish are sending virtual puppy kisses your way.
I think it is lovely, especially the fountain!

This is quite beautiful and I am so pleased they felt it worth the expense and effort. It is certainly much better than the wee memorial that was erected in Canada last year. I kept looking for glimpses of it just the Remembrance Day ceremonies but I am sure only the “crazy animal people” bothered to visit. Maybe I will need to make a pilgrimage to Texas one day!
