So, we have a dog bed on our main level that is the twin (aside from color) of the bed Bella has in our bedroom. She loves the bed upstairs, but generally ignores the bed on the main level. It’s really become a site for excess toy storage – she leaves the toys she doesn’t really play with in there and takes her favorite ones to Toy Corner.
In the past, she’s occasionally shown interest in the bed when we had another canine visitor in the house. True to form, when Roscoe and Tavish started sniffing her bed on Saturday, she just had to get in there… hence, today’s post title.
(As you may have noticed, all of my photos of late have been of the iPhone/Instagram variety. Once the pups are settled in, I will happily return to my real camera!)
Now it’s your turn – what’s Bella thinking?
Sure.. it starts with just a few iPhone photos then we swear we’ll get back to our DSLR… then it collects dust, haha.
You know Nico doesn’t have an interest in his bed unless I’m gone for the day. But he sure is great at stealing his dog friend’s beds when we’re visiting!
All I can think of in Bella’s photo is “Mine!”

I will be so thrilled when that happens that I’ll definitely be posting a picture. Right now, we’ve progressed to snoozing within 6 inches of each other, which I found delightful.
That’s very cute. I adore your Bella. I’m not sure how she fits in the bed with all those toys though. 😉

Gretel likes to steal all the things too. She also immediately steels “all the things” that belong to the other doggies that come to our house for sitting too. I try to at least keep her off their bed but it is futile.

I know what you mean. Bella did that when my dad’s dog visited too, and she’s definitely been in the boys’ beds since the weekend. It’s a losing battle!

Awww, wish I could get Ryker to use his bed. We got him a big fluffy one and it was to hot. Now a flat cooler one and he doesn’t like it, he acts like Goldilocks!
Bella will use hers upstairs, but the downstairs one is rarely used!
Looks like she is daring them to just try to come and get that lone ball on the floor!

Yeah, we got the small balls for the boys – Bella doesn’t normally even like balls but she was playing with that one just because they were.

She let them nap in the bed yesterday. She is still meticulously maintaining her own toy pile, however. 🙂

BOL! Five years after we brought Koly home. Felix is still the “legal” owner of every toy in the house, even if it might *appear* to the casual observer that Kolchak was given them. All it takes is a low, husky *woof* from Fe and Kol is paws off!
