Captioning like cats & dogs: BlogPaws edition

I realize that I haven’t shared much about my BlogPaws experience yet. I’m still catching up on life, but I promise I’ll get there eventually. In the meantime, I thought I’d share a few photos I snapped over the weekend.

First up, a pink punk rocker from Curlz and Swirls:

Pink Punk Rock Cat: I Still Want More Puppies

Anyone else thinking of Jem and the Holograms right now?

And here’s dapper Dewi from the Chronicles of Cardigan:

Dewi the Corgi: I Still Want More Puppies

All your treats are belong to Dewi

Think you can do better? Give me your best captions in the comments!

  1. THe first one actually makes me think of “I knew I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue” from Airplane (dating myself…). I don’t know why. But it does. The hair I guess.

The second I have no caption for, but damn that Dewi is CUTE. And, having had a Cardi nephew for years and years now, I had no idea they could sit up like that?!

  2. I’ve never attended Blogpaws, but it sounds like a lot of fun!

I judt stopped over from Heart Like A Dog, to say hello! 🙂

  3. Wait, you got a picture of Dewi? My stupidity knows no bounds – I spent all my time hugging on the Corgis and totally forgot to get pictures. Doh!

At least Frankie I’m a Lover Not a Fighter’s mom had it going on enough to ask if I wanted her to take my pic with Frankie. (Yes, please!)

I was totally unprepared for BlogPaws but have learned some valuable lessons for next time.

    • If anything, the poor cat was probably just hoping I’d get my act together and snap the damn photo already. I kept messing with the settings trying to get just the right shot!

  4. For the first one, I’m reminded of the hilarious end of “Cats and Dogs” {which we re-wound about a million times} with that wicked Persian, Mr Tinkle, getting dressed-up by the coo-ing aunties.

For the darling Corgi – who could add anything to that pic? He is just so ON today!

  5. Wow, you really got some good pics! My pics turned out kind of crappy and I’m disappointed! I was so surprised that that cat didn’t claw it’s owners face off for dressing it like that…I guess it’s used to it by now.

And Dewi was so cute doing his tricks for Jodi’s treats!! He’s adorable!
