How do you measure a year?

It’s been a year today since I said goodbye to my best gal. It’s hard to believe that a whole year has passed. How has it been that long since she was here?

When we were young…

I struggled to find the words for today’s post. Rather than force it, I’m going to go get some Tavish snuggles and reminisce about my Bella.

Missing that face today and every day.

  1. I love that picture of the two of you! I didn’t realize it had been a year today for you. Cinco de Mayo was the anniversary of Treat’s passing and I still find myself getting a little melancholy. I hope Tavish did a good job of reminding you what a special dog mama you are!

  2. Yes, anniversaries are hard but you have lots of great memories. And it also helps to have a warm pup to snuggle. Love to you.

  3. Sorry I missed this before. (We were out of town and then the hubs was having knee surgery.) I found the one year anniversary of Abby’s death to be very hard. I hope Tavish gave you some comforting snuggles. I know I got some from Rita when it was Abby’s anniversary. Sending hugs from me and gentle nose-pokes from Rita.
