Recognize that movie? I had the chance to go see the stage version last night with a good friend (hence the fact that Thursday’s post is going up on Friday). It definitely helped get me in the holiday mood – snow even fell on us at the end. (Not just confetti, but wet snow. It was a nice touch.)

  1. One of my favorites is “The Night They Saved Christmas” it’s a little known movie, that sometimes pops up on cable around this time of year. Other than that, I have to particularly favorite movies I have to see, although Home Alone always seems to crop up somewhere during this time.

  2. Not thought of ad a holiday movie but does take place at Christmas … Die Hard with Bruce Willis. Also really liked a Hallmark movie from 1960s called TheYear Without a Christmas Tree.

  3. this is so weird, i just named these 2 movies as part of my favorite part of the xmas holidays, i try to watch them every year. love them….they dont make movies like they used to….love the oldies….
